September 25th 2025
The end of September brings both the return of Strictly and the annual debate about when to turn the heating on.
But for us here at Communicate-ed, it also marks the completion of a whirlwind month of training. Since the JCQ AARA regulations for 2025/26 were released, we’ve worked hard to update all our courses — and have already trained over 3,570 delegates on the new regulations since 1st September. In addition, we have trained 900 more to be Invigilators, Readers, Scribes or other adult helpers in exams.
This year, we enjoyed training face to face at venues in Manchester, Birmingham and London. It was brilliant to connect with so many SEN professionals in person, as well as through our online conference earlier this week. Across these events, our tutors and experts answered hundreds of questions in Q&A sessions — something we know delegates really value.
Since 2002, we’ve made it our mission to equip and support SEN professionals to do difficult jobs well. We do this year-round through our online courses, membership and webinars, but updating and refreshing knowledge of the JCQ regulations on Access Arrangements each autumn is often what we’re best known for — and it’s a part of the year we really enjoy.
And don’t worry, the training doesn’t stop here. Our online Access Arrangements courses will continue to be available throughout the year, and we’ll also be delivering our full-day courses for those new to the role in the coming months.
If you were one of the 4,500+ delegates we’ve trained this September — thank you. We look forward to supporting you again soon!
