Collating/Interpreting Evidence for Access Arrangements - Webinar with Q&A Recording (COLINTWEB)

This webinar recording is for assessors and EAA coordinators or SENCos who are involved in assessing for or coordinating the access arrangements process within a centre.

When considering who may need an access arrangements, there can be a mountain of evidence to collate and interpret. During this webinar, Caroline takes you through the process of gathering evidence for candidates who may need access arrangements, including group screening, and considering other needs such as sensory impairments, EAL, physical disabilities and medical conditions etc.

She guides you through the interpretation of available evidence, helping to make decisions about who should and shouldn’t have an arrangement, with suggestions about further assessment where required.

Caroline is a Specialist Teacher who has practical experience in all areas of the Access Arrangements process and trains for LAs, Universities and SEN Services. Caroline contributed to the PATOSS/JCQ publication ‘Dyslexia: Assessing the need for Access Arrangements’, has been published in academic journals and has worked with various publishers to develop tests. She was part of the working party which set up ‘Access Arrangements Online’ and has been involved with other DfE and Ofqual training and policy projects.
