Charitable Support

Since Communicate-ed was established in 2002 we have had 4 aims

• To provide practical and relevant training for education professionals involved in the area of Special Needs
• To run a viable business
• To raise funds for charity projects which support educational opportunities, particularly for those caught in poverty in the UK and overseas
• To provide work for our staff

We have been able to donate over £300,000 including tax added through Gift Aid to such projects.

A proportion of any profit made from courses is donated, and money has also been raised through the sale of our resources (see our webpage ‘Resources’)

Caroline Read, who is co-founder of Communicate-ed and one of our course tutors, visited some of the projects in Africa and Asia that have benefited from Communicate-ed’s support.
